Top Global Announces Worldwide Retail Launch of 3G Phoebus Cellular Router with Mobile and Wireless Group

Top Global announced that the company has signed an agreement with Mobile and Wireless Group to accelerate international market penetration of 3G cellular gateways and routers based on Top Global’s MobileBridge platform.

The MobileBridge is a patented, mobile/portable wireless communication platform and it is the world’s first and the most integrated WLAN and WWAN solution for Enterprise, Mobile Hot Spots, SOHO, and WISPs. The 3G Phoebus takes a single 3G PCMCIA card and creates a mobile Wi-Fi hot spot for multiple terminals using 802.11b/g technology to deliver download speeds of up to 2.4 Mbps (EVDO) or 1.8Mbps (HSDPA). Through the 3G Phoebus, multiple LAN and Wi-Fi devices and users can simultaneously access the 3G wireless data-link. It can be used as a replacement or backup for dial up, ISDN, DSL, cable, or satellite connections. The product is secure, simple to use, and easily scalable to enable new wireless data services and applications.
