Description
This XFP BIDI ER40 fiber module is designed for 10Gigabit/s duplex
optical data communication applications, the module consists of two
sections: a high-quality 1330nm DFB laser transmitter and a
sensitive 1270nm PIN receiver, provides a link up to 40km over a
simplex single-mode fiber cable with LC connector. All module meets
Class 1 laser safety requirement.
Digital Diagnostic Monitoring functions are available via an I2C
interface, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver
temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical
power and transceiver supply voltage.
The WDM XFP ER transceiver module complies with XFP MSA Rev 4.5
specifications, 10 Gigabit Ethernet specifications (10GBASE-ER/EW
per IEEE 802.3ae ), and 10G Fibre Channel.
