Model XQ28/2.6 hydraulic power tong is a kind of sucker rod power tong, which is improved from XYQ1.8. In well service, the XQ28/2.6 hydraulic power tong is used to make up and break out sucker rod thread, the sucker rod power tong can provide faster, more uniform make-up and break-out of sucker rods and macaroni tubing - withoutdamage to thread couplings. The sucker rod power tong is designed and manufactured according to API standard.
Features of sucker rod power tong:
* The XQ28/2.6 hydraulic power tong is designed with compact structure. The master tong of the power tong is driven by low speed
large torque hydraulic motor which matching with manual control
valve. The backup tong just like a spanner. Total weight is
approximately equal to XYQ1.8.
* The operating is briefness and convenience with high efficiency.
Put the respondence size jaw set into master tong and the
respondence size glutting into backup tong , turning the reset knob
in correct direction then can make up and break out sucker rod by
operating manual control valve.
* Large low gear torque,especially suitable for the instance that
is difficult to break out sucker rod thread.
